Northwest Afternoon TV Features
Northwest Afternoon, a KOMO TV daytime staple for decades, was one of the last locally produced programs to air in the greater Seattle area. From early 2007 until August 2008 when the program was sadly cancelled, PSCC co-produced with Northwest Afternoon (NWA) special features that focused on cancer topics. From breakthrough technologies to the newest treatments, PSCC delivered the good news about advances in cancer care every month. As the exclusive cancer information provider for NWA, the PSCC doctors prepared their topics based on what was new, inventive, creative, successful or useful information for anyone impacted by cancer. Often times, patients would join their PSCC doctors on stage to share their experience.
